Prominent Indian restaurateur Balbir Singh Sumal has bought the Karisma Indian restaurant on the south side of Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street.
The property at the junction with Granville Street can seat 120 diners.
It joins Sumal’s existing two restaurants –both called Balbir’s – in Glasgow’s Church Street and just off the A77 route to Ayr.
The Glasgow office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off an asking price of £800,000 on behalf of Bob Madan.
