Stubbi them out

Wednesday 24 March 2004 14:59

One nasty by-product of customers drinking outside in the summer is the cigarette butts on the ground. But there's a new invention on the market that can contain the problem. Enter the Stubbi.

The idea is that customers buy this small pouch (from behind the bar, say) to put their finished cigarettes in. The heat-resistant material combined with an airtight seal means that, when shut, the pouch extinguishes the cigarettes, which can then be emptied in a bin.

The pouches hold up to five butts.
