BaxterStorey cooks for GlaxoSmithKline
BaxterStorey has won a three-year deal to provide catering services at nine UK sites of pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline. The sites are in Addenbrookes in Cambridgeshire, Beckenham and Tonbridge in Kent, Frythe, Stevenage and Ware in Hertfordshire, Greenford in Middlesex and there are two sites at Harlow in Essex. The deal, which begins at the Greenford, Stevenage and Ware sites on 4 July and at the remaining six sites on 1 August, will turn over £6m per year and feed 8,000 staff. The Greenford, Stevenage and Ware sites were won from Compass Group niche business division Baxter & Platts and the remaining sites were formerly run by Avenance. A total of 146 BaxterStorey staff will work across the nine sites.


Aramark wins first-time deal
Aramark has been awarded the contract to provide catering facilities at the head office of logistics company Wincanton in Chippenham, Wiltshire. The three-year deal, which is a new contract, will turn over £240,000 per year and serve 440 potential customers. Seven Aramark staff will work on the contract.
