Five new outlets for Dim T chain

Thursday 25 May 2006 12:27

Pan-Asian dim sum restaurant chain Dim T is set to open up to five more restaurants this year, Caterer has learnt.

In what was described by Dim T owner and company director Jonny Plant as "a slow and steady expansion", the group will open another London property on South Kensington's Gloucester Road in September and one in south London later this year.

Outside the capital, Dim T sites will open in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, in July, in Loughton, Essex, in September and in Nottingham by the end of the year.

The group, which counts Ask Pizza founders Sam and Adam Kaye as investors, currently has three London properties in Hampstead, Highgate and Charlotte Street serving Vietnamese, Japanese and Thai cuisine.
