The new Baker's Select range of icings and fillings from Dawn Foods provides a complete finishing solution that allows caterers to customise their sweet bakery goods with ease.
The initial line-up of 21 products includes revamped versions of old favourites and uses natural colours and flavourings, but no hydrogenated fats. All ingredients can be stored at ambient temperatures, even after opening, and are freeze- and thaw-stable.
The launch line-up embraces glossy icings (in chocolate, caramel, and vanilla flavours); six frostings (chocolate, toffee, strawberry, lemon, vanilla and cream cheese); crystal glazes for hot or cold products; vanilla and chocolate crème fillings; strawberry and lemon Spread and Fill flavours in new 5kg pails; strawberry and cherry fillings containing whole fruit; and lemon, banana and orange fruit bits.
