All-day breakfast pastries from Bakehouse

Changing trends that see consumers snacking on breakfast products throughout the day have prompted Bakehouse to rename its Breakfast Selection Pack, the Continental Pastry Selection.

This pack conveniently brings together three of the best-selling viennoiserie: 16 All-Butter Croissants; 10 Pain Raisin, containing moist raisins and crème pâtissière; and Pain Chocolat, with a Belgian chocolate filling that runs from end to end.

All are pre-glazed with egg, so they require no finishing, and can be baked off from frozen in 18 minutes.

The light, all-butter dough used in all three products is made in Lille to a method that replicates artisan bakers' techniques, in which it is rested for a long time at a low temperature.
