Gordon Ramsay confirms opening date of Bread Street Kitchen

Gordon Ramsay has confirmed that his new restaurant and bar, Bread Street Kitchen, will launch next month.

The new restaurant will open on 26 September at the One New Change development in the City, which also houses Jamie Oliver and Adam Perry-Lang's US barbecue-inspired restaurant Barbecoa.

Bread Street Kitchen will be an all-day casual dining concept open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

It will be set in a large and dramatic warehouse with reclaimed furniture, vintage arm chairs and an exposed lift shaft to reference the area's industrial roots. It will also include a wine balcony stretching along the wall above the kitchen as well as a raw bar and a wood burning oven.

The menu will feature dishes such as cider-braised pork collar and king crab cocktail, ceviche of sea bass with grapefruit, chilli and lime at the raw bar or small plates in the ground floor bar.

Bread Street Kitchen is the first London restaurant opening from Gordon Ramsay Holdings since the company's management restructure following the sacking of former chief executive Chris Hutcheson.

The group put its Australian business into liquidation last week and earlier this month opened its first restaurant in Canada, Laurier Gordon Ramsay in Montreal.
