Hopkinson win

Hopkinson Catering has won a three-year contract worth a total of £540,000 to provide catering for Sir William Romney's School in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. Starting this month Hopkinson will feed 780 students and is planning new menus and a calendar of themed days.

Charlton double

Charlton House has won two new contracts with a combined turnover of £600,000. It will cater for 300 staff for container shipping firm CP Ships in Horley, Surrey, and Gatwick, West Sussex. The contractor has also begun catering for staff at the offices of law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom, in London's Canary Wharf. Charlton House expects to turn over more than £30.5m during the year to 30 September.

Two for Avenance

Avenance has won two new contracts. At the InterContinental Hotels Group European Business Centre in Aylesbury it will run a staff restaurant, caf‚ and vending services. The deal, worth an estimated £100,000 in turnover, is for three years and was previously held by Eurest. At Coxhill Manor residential nursing home in Surrey, Avenance will provide morning-till-night snacks and drinks to 84 residents and staff. Connect Catering Services previously held the three-year contract, worth £210,000 a year.

Wilson Vale deal

Wilson Vale has struck a new deal at Derbyshire Building Society's head office in Duffield. As part of the one-year rolling contract, worth £120,000 a year, the restaurant has been redesigned and Wilson Vale has come up with a daily hot choice plus boxed salads and sandwiches which the 280 staff can preorder through the company intranet. Avenance previously held the contract.

Getting into print

Leeming Pilkington has bagged a one-year rolling contract at the head office of printing firm St Ives in Borough, south London. The deal, worth £100,000 a year, sees Leeming Pilkington serving 200 employees breakfast and lunch.
