Michelangelo stemware from John Artis

Michelangelo stemwareManufactured by renowned Italian glassware house Luigi Bormioli, Michelangelo stemware is imported to the UK by John Artis.

Luigi Bormioli has improved its manufacturing processes such that the collection now offers improved product performance. Its quality and purity rivals that of lead crystal, yet the Michelangelo collection is also highly functional, standing up well to the rigours of a busy restaurant environment.

It features a toughened rim, with a fine, beadless appearance, and a slender, finely drawn stem that is surprisingly strong. The weak point of many stemware ranges is where the stem joins the foot. New Luigi Bormioli technology ensures that this join is very strong. Furthermore, Michelangelo is dishwasher-proof to more than 3,000 cycles.

Michelangelo is produced in nine shapes including the very large 480ml "Mega Grand Vini" plus four further sizes of wine glass. Also in the collection are a flute, cocktail glass, Champagne saucer, sherry glass and a Prosecco shape.

Michelangelo is also produced in a longer-stemmed variant, Michelangelo Masterpiece. The taller stem adds a further elegance to the distinctive shape and particularly suits fine-dining restaurants. Besides four shapes of wine glass, this collection offers Hurricane, Margarita, Grappa, Martini and Liqueur glasses.

The list price for Michelangelo wine glasses now starts at the reduced level of £2.12, with the equivalent in the Michelangelo Masterpiece range priced at £2.18.
