
The launch of Kit Kat Chunky Caramel into the hospitality sector should get the tills ringing as Kit Kat sales have grown by 17% in the past year, while research by Nestlé shows that caramel has wide appeal and the highest purchase intent.
The £7m media campaign backing the new chocolate bar (including TV ads, PoS material and Nestle's £10m on-pack Music Break promotion) bumps up the total spend backing the Kit Kat brand for 2009 to £24m.
