Balers from Mil-tek

From the end of this month, the Landfill Directive will compel hotels, pubs and restaurants to pre-treat their non-hazardous waste, which will now have to be separated and recycled, not dumped in a skip headed for landfill disposal.

Mil-tek's range of balers will compact waste into small bales, reducing both the volume of rubbish and the cost of collection.

The weatherproof units come in range of different sizes; can handle cans, plastic and cardboard; and are air-operated to keep energy consumption low.

The line-up includes eight cardboard and plastic balers; an electromechanical model less than 2m in height; three X-Press balers for compacting mixed and burnable waste; two EPS compactors; a two-chamber Multi Baler for pressing cardboard and plastic at the same time; a Can Crusher; and a Mill Size Baler for handling large quantities of cardboard and plastic. The company offers a free two-week trial of its compactors.
