White Christmas table linen

Johnson Stalbridge Linen Services is predicting a white Christmas this year as far as the best-dressed festive tables are concerned.

"We've recently seen a definite move back to white as the perfect setting for celebration tables", said sales and marketing director David Hill. "This year, restaurant owners are shunning the reds and greens of Christmas in favour of a simpler image. A white tablecloth also gives them the choice to add a splash of colour for that colour block trend we've seen so much of on the catwalks this year."

He added: "A celebration table laid with a white linen tablecloth and napkins, and teamed with sparkling red, gold or silver festive accessories, definitely has the wow factor and creates a lasting first impression with your customers."
