Jacob's Creek additions from Pernod Ricard

Monday 26 January 2009 00:00
Pernod Ricard logoJacob's Creek chief winemaker Phil Laffer has added four new wines to the brand's Sparkling, Reserve and Classic ranges.

The South Eastern Australian 2008 aromatic whites and lighter-style reds include a Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Tempranillo and Pinot Noir.

In line with consumer demand for high-quality sparkling wine, the company has also launched a Sparkling Blanc de Blancs NV. This 100% Chardonnay is sourced from a variety of Australia's cool-climate grape-growing regions.

Also launched is a Reserve Pinot Noir 2006, offering good varietal character, integrated tannins, balance, structure and length.
