Kissing Tree wines from CWF

Monday 26 January 2009 00:02
Kissing Tree winesCaterers will be pushed to find a more aptly named wine to serve this Valentine's Day than the Kissing Tree range from Yorkshire wine company CWF.

In keeping with the current trend for single-serve bottles, the wines are now available in 18.75cl bottles as well as the original 75cl format.

The range is targeted at 18- to 35-year-old female consumers and comprises three fruit-driven varieties: a Zinfandel rosé (10.5% abv), Pinot Grigio (13% abv) and a Cabernet Sauvignon (13% abv).

The Californian Zinfandel rosé‚ is described as bursting with ripe aromas of wild strawberries and exotic fruits; clean and refreshing with a balanced and lengthy finish.

The Romanian Pinot Grigio has intense, fresh citrus fruit flavours with a crisp, dry and lightly spicy finish.

The Australian Cabernet Sauvignon has Morello cherry and dark plum fruit aromas with a smooth, well balanced and lengthy finish.
