Multigrain rolls and croissants from Mantinga

Monday 26 January 2009 00:11
Mantinga mult-grain croissantMini and regular multigrain croissants and multigrain round rolls are sourced from an artisan bakery in Germany.

They are made from germ-bud flour containing 11 germinated grains including peas, lupin, wheatgerm and red clover as well as whole linseed, pumpkin and sunflower seeds.

The use of germ-bud flour means the product stays fresh longer and germinated grains are preserved in the flour so that their vitamins and minerals are preserved, even when baked.

The croissants and rolls are frozen ready for bake-off at 175°C for 20 minutes (for mini croissants, 170°C for 18- 22 minutes).

The 100g multigrain croissants are boxed as 60 units per case while the mini multigrain croissants are boxed as 80 units per case.
