Melitta's modular 600 Series bulk-brew filter coffee machine features porcelain-lined urns to avoid giving the coffee a metallic taste.
It contains a pyramid filter system to trap roasting deposits and bitter residues.
The 600 Series can be preprogrammed to turn on, warm up and begin filtering a preselected quantity between five and 40 litres at a required time.
The series is based on a central hot water boiler surrounded by either one or two urns. Windows in both boiler and urns allow visual level control. A high-performance hot water spout on the boiler enables water to be drawn off for other beverages, while a flexible coffee spout attachment can be used to fill any size of container.
The machine can be supplied either as a buffet model with its own hotplate or as a mobile unit with a trolley. Depending on the configuration selected, up to 640 cups of coffee can be produced per hour.
