The Protagonista 90 Series of gas and electric ovens and ranges from Mareno are designed to offer high efficiency, energy savings and safety.
The 18 ranges with 140 configurations of gas and electric models include cookers, griddle plates, cupboard units, fry tops, bain-maries, charcoal grills, induction and pasta cookers, boiling and tilting bratt pans and holding units.
The gas burners, from 1.66kW and from 2.510kW, are sealed tight to the top, with control knobs designed for protection against infiltration of water. Tops come with 65mm-deep spillage wells as well as supports for smaller pans.
The fry tops with cooking plates have 21kW of power, a steel or chromed finish, plus a fat runoff with a 2.5-litre capacity.
The reversible chargrills are made in cast iron with a grease trough with removable drawers for collecting fat or holding water.
Solid-tops are 30mm-thick cast iron with rounded edges and a satin finish, giving a 780mm x 700mm surface.
The cast-iron hotplates (300mm x 300mm with 4kW power), are sealed tight to the pressed top with heating controlled through a seven-setting selector. Each plate is fitted with an automatic reset safety thermostat, which activates in case of incorrect use with unsuitable or empty pans.
