USP The latest addition to McCain's Classic range will help pubs and restaurants provide a classic chip shop-style offering in comfortable surroundings - or to extend their business by launching a take-away fish and chips service.

Details Chippys are made from 100% British potatoes and are characterised by an irregular, hand-cut chunky appearance and a moist texture inside.

Serving suggestions Serve with fish, battered sausages, fish cakes, or steak and ale pie; or topped with curry sauce, mushy peas or gravy

Storage Although supplied frozen, the chips are dual storage, giving operators the flexibility to keep them in the fridge (for five days from full defrost) or the freezer (from 18 months).

Cooking time Five minutes

How supplied Frozen, in cases of 4 x 2.5kg
