Bloomberg critic Richard Vines visits steak house Goodman, just off London’s Regent Street.
The Russian-owned restaurant offers a range of Australian, British and US cuts, and Vines says the meat is very good. He adds that with the service “assured and friendly”, the venture stands up to comparison with Jason Atherton’s Maze Grill.
Fay Maschler at the London Evening Standard enjoys the undeniable value and quality of the 16-dish tasting menu at A Taste of McClements in Kew but suggests the five-tastes lunch menu with two glasses of wine is probably the more manageable and recommended choice.
