Union Hand Roasted has launched OneCafé, a gas-flushed single-use pouch to retain the fresh smell of coffee.
Designed as an alternative to stick packs of instant coffee, the pouch requires just a cup and the means to boil water to prepare it.
Suitable for hotels, the coffee comes with easy-to-follow instructions on an in-room card.
The pouches are currently available with either Fairtrade Certified, Rwanda Maraba Bourbon coffee or the company's decaf coffee, and guests can control the strength of their brew by dipping the pod in boiling water for shorter or longer than the recommended time.
OneCafé singles are supplied in cases of 112 pieces with a minimum shelf life of six months.
