Mathias Thurmshirn becomes head chef at the Earl of March pub

Mathias Thurmshirn has joined the Earl of March pub as head chef.

Thurmshirn will be in charge of four chefs for the 55-seat restaurant and pub that overlooks the South Downs at Lavant, near Chichester on the West Sussex-Hampshire border.

He trained in Germany before landing jobs at the Ritz and the Dorchester hotels in London.
