A new line of tamper-evident containers is available in the UK through packaging products supplier Kavis.
Suitable for pre-prepared fresh foods or ready meals in a refrigerated display, the pack is vacuum-formed in PET, stackable, transparent and recyclable, and available in a range of sizes from 250cc to 750cc.
Once the hinged lid is 'clicked' closed, food is sealed inside the container and access is only possible by tearing the wings on each side of the pack. At point-of-sale this provides a higher level of security and reassurance for the consumer.
