Indian restaurant business Vama is taking its first steps beyond London with six new openings at four Selfridges department stores across the country.
Vama, owned by brothers Andy and Arjun Vama, has signed a deal to open four concession counters and two restaurants at the department chain.
Under the banner of Vamaji – the company’s takeaway operation – the roll out starts in Manchester on 22 May with Selfridges’ Exchange Square and Trafford stores opening concessions.
Concessions in Birmingham’s Bull Ring shopping centre and London’s Oxford Street store on 19 June will follow.
A new restaurant in Selfridges’ fourth floor Food Garden in London is also planned as is a non-table service restaurant in the Bull Ring.
