A Glass Act

Wednesday 28 July 2004 16:29

Some customers might find their enjoyment of a pint outside spoiled when they have to drink it from a flimsy plastic container. Now, disposables company Huhtamaki believes it has a solution with its clear plastic Premier tumblers. They're made from a new APET material which, according to the company, gives the visibility of glass with the functionality of plastic. The shatterproof tumblers are available in half-pint and pint sizes.

Price: pint, less than 5p each; half-pint, less than 3p each
