FishWorks set to open 12th site

FishWorks signed contacts on its 12th acquisition on 25 May, just days after buying restaurant number 11.

The latest addition to the expanding FishWorks portfolio is at 212 Fulham Road in Chelsea, London. The site will provide a minimum of 75 covers and follow the established format of fishmonger, seafood café and cookery school. The restaurant is scheduled to open in August this year.

Earlier this week the group signed contracts on a site in New Kings Road, South London, due to open in July.

Commenting on the most recent signing, executive chairman, Roy Morris said: “We are delighted to exchange contracts on this site, which is our fifth since December. [Founder] Mitchell Tonks and I have been interested in this area for more than three year and believe we have now found the perfect spot for FishWorks. Chelsea is a great addition to our portfolio; another busy, village-type environment in a quality residential area with discerning local population of ‘foodies’.”
