Thistle Hotels has appointed Richard Parker general manager of its East Midlands Airport hotel. Parker will oversee the day-to-day management of the hotel and its staff and will be responsible for raising its profile in the region.
He has spent more than 27 years working in the hospitality industry and has held general manager roles at Hilton Nottingham, Ramada Jarvis in Burton on Trent and Loughborough and Choice Hotels Europe, where he managed the Quality Hotel Northampton and Comfort Hotel Nottingham.
