The Seafield hotel in Campbeltown, Argyll, has been sold to Doug and Saskia Archer from County Durham.
The two-star stone villa – which was built in 1836 as a home for the owners of the local whiskey distillery - overlooks the shores of Campbeltown Loch on the Kintyre Peninsula and is near the championship golf course at Machrihanish.
It has eight letting bedrooms to sleep 16, a lounge bar with a bar servery, and an 80-seat L-shaped restaurant with a cocktail bar and a dance floor that can hold up to 100 people for functions.
There’s also two-bedroom owners’ accommodation on the first floor and an outside patio area and beer garden.
The Glasgow office of Colliers Robert Barry sold the freehold off a guide price of £375,000 or more.
