John Artis has included a range of double-walled glassware for hot and cold beverages in its 2008 glass, table and barware catalogue.
Duos, designed by Italian glass manufacturer Luigi Bormioli, is a range of five different cups, mugs and glasses.
They are made from borosilicate glass, which means that they are light and yet resistant to thermal shock. Each one is made with double walls featuring a hollow centre so that the trapped air acts as an insulating agent. This means that hot and cold drinks maintain their temperature for longer.
The range features an espresso mug; latte mug; cappuccino/tea cup and two different sizes of drinks tumbler. The range starts at £3.37 list price for the espresso cup, packed in cases of 12.
