US firm Cres Cor is a key supplier to major chains such as Burger King, KFC and the Marriott, Hyatt and Sheraton hotel groups. Its mobile insulated cabinets - available in glass door, solid door or pass-through designs - include full- and half-size cook-and-hold ovens, countertop and under-counter holding cabinets, transport cabinets, plate dollies and banquet carts.
The moving air keeps food crisp, allowing a variety of foods to be stored together, while humidity controls cater for moisture-sensitive food. The radiant heat cabinets prolong evaporation so foods such as casseroles and unboxed pizza can be held uncovered.
The cabinets, which carry a two-year parts warranty, simply plug into a 13amp socket.
