Bamboo platter from Black Rock Grill

Bamboo platterA bamboo platter has been added to the theatrical Black Rock Grill method of allowing customers to cook grilled meals to their personal tastes on heated volcanic rocks at their tables.

The new platter, made from sustainable and hard-wearing bamboo, provides an attractive alternative to the existing porcelain platter and will complement Oriental and fusion cuisine meals. The volcanic rocks are heated in ovens before being placed on the platter and topped with food that is grilled at the customer's table.

The bamboo platter comes with interchangeable plates and bowls to allow varied presentation and will hold small ramekin dishes for dips and dressings.

The system - which has recently won certification from the NSF International standards development body - offers 16-, 30-, 60- and 100-rock ovens that can be sited anywhere.
