Aimed at the non-specialist food service operator who wants to trade up and serve espresso, Douwe Egberts' new Espresso range consists of three blends: Halcyon, Euphony and Sonority. Halcyon is made from 100% Arabica beans and, the company says, gives a smooth, mild coffee suitable as a base for cappuccinos and lattes as well as espressos; Euphony is a stronger-bodied blend, suitable for ristrettos, espressos and speciality drinks; while Sonority is a full and rounded coffee suitable for cappuccinos and lattes.
