Embassy set to open in Abu Dhabi

Thursday 26 January 2006 00:00

Mayfair nightclub Embassy is to launch a second business in Abu Dhabi's "seven-star" Emirates Palace hotel in May.

The new venture will cover 10,000sq ft and include a 150-seat restaurant, nightclub, private rooms and chef's table.

Owners Mark Fuller and Garry Hollihead have taken a 10-year contract on the space under a five-year renewable lease. Embassy Abu Dhabi will be open to hotel guests, club members and diners only.

Fuller said the site was the first of several earmarked for the Middle East.

Menus under the direction of Hollihead will be similar to those at the London restaurant.
