Jonathan Huglin has been appointed general manager of the Radisson SAS Hotel Leeds. He joins from the Radisson SAS Waterfront hotel in St Helier, Jersey, where he was also general manager. South African-born Huglin has almost 20 years' experience in the hospitality industry, having started his career as room service supervisor.
In 1992 Huglin joined South African group Halcyon Hotels and rose to executive chef, and then restaurant operations manager, before being promoted to general manager.
In 2002 Huglin joined the Radisson SAS Hotel Waterfront in Cape Town as food and beverage manager, before being promoted to executive assistant manager in January 2005. In March 2006 he moved to the UK as executive assistant manager at the Radisson SAS Hotel Manchester Airport, where he was promoted to hotel manager in August 2006 ahead of his move to Jersey.
