Fay Maschler finds herself in love with Adrian Jones, head chef at The Salisbury in London.
The London Evening Standard’s food critic is impressed by the tapas menu at the pub in Fulham and says it’s well worth a detour.
“It has a menu (and a drinks list) for our times,” she enthuses. “I love you too, Adrian.”
Meanwhile Bloomberg’s food critic Richard Vines returns to Little Chef in Popham four months after Heston Blumenthal’s makeover of the restaurant.
He praises the quality of the food and wants to see “another 174 Little Chefs like Popham”.
The Metro’s food critic finds Sam and Eddie Hart right on the money with the relaunched version of their original tapas restaurant Fino.
Marina O’Loughlin enjoys the food at the restaurant in Fitzrovia and says its “deceptive simplicity disguises dedication to excellence and some fine ingredients”.
