Jurys Doyle is reviewing the future of three of its Dublin hotels, The Towers, Jurys Ballsbridge and the Berkeley Court.
The hotels, all located close to each other in the city’s upmarket Ballsbridge area, have suffered from disappointing results this year.
Chief executive Pat McCann would not say if any of the three faced closure but insisted the company would still have a hotel in the area. “This is a very important site for us,” he said.
The review is being undertaken as the Dublin market goes through a transistion. “Five years ago you had 9,000 rooms in the city – now you have 14,000,” said Mr McCann.
“There’s a lot more product for the same business and it’s a much more challenging market.”
