School’s out for summer. School’s out for ever. So might as well throw away those Tesco school equipment vouchers I guess.

Still, Marco Pierre White believes formal education is a waste of time if you’re planning on becoming the next, well…Marco.

Institute of a different kind, English Heritage, has teamed up with Paramount hotels to promote the best historic sites England has to offer.

They could do worse than the multi award winning Star Inn in North Yorkshire, which has – shock, horror – won another no doubt deserved award with the Taste of England accolade as part of this year’s Enjoy England Awards.

Cater Link added a contract win with a borough wide London Islington deal and noddle chain Wagamma added its first US site in Boston. More than a Feeling? No, that’s just the grub.

Moving on, British Country Inns is after more cash for expansion in Wales. Tidy. Although maybe a name change is in order?

Hilton Hotels Corporation has completed a neat bit of business with the sale of 10 hotels and Domino’s are apparently making plenty of dough.

Anchovies so.

The swanky Dorchester Collection is to move into management and although the hotel market is heading for a slowdown, fear not, a recession should be avoided.
