Private members' club and restaurant Dorsia to open in South Kensington
Dorsia, a new restaurant and private members' club named after the fictional restaurant in the cult film American Psycho, is to open in South Kensington later this spring.
Located in a Georgian townhouse on Cromwell Road, the development will hold three venues: a stand-alone restaurant that will be open to both members and the public, and a private club and bar.
It is a joint venture between Nick Andreen and Fraser Carruthers, both formerly at Boujis. The building, which was previously known as the Hudson Club, has undergone significant refurbishment overseen by designer George Rose and cost £2.4m.
The basement has been transformed into a club divided into several different spaces while the bar is on the ground floor. The 40-seater restaurant is located on the first floor.
Alexander Baillieu is in charge of the kitchen and has devised a menu of modern European dishes. The cocktail menu was designed by Thomas Gillgren of Sketch and Fredrik Olsson of Kosmopol.
