This week's star buy is a former ferry inn located in the north Highlands that certainly offers a room with a view.
The Kylesku hotel overlooks the ferry slipway in the village of Kylesku, Sutherland, with views across Loch Glendhu to the mountains beyond.
In addition to the eight letting bedrooms, restaurant, residents' lounge, and bar with bistro area there are staff rooms and a separate three-bedroomed house for the owners. Currently, the hotel is operating for only eight months of the year, but even so it manages to generate profits of about £100,000 a year for the current owners.
Property agent Colliers Robert Barry is seeking offers over £575,000 for the property.
