Events caterer Rhubarb is to open a new in-store restaurant, Bond & Brook, in the revamped Fenwick store in Bond Street in August, it has been announced.
Located on the second floor, Bond & Brook represents the first project undertaken by consultancy firm A Private View, the partnership of Evening Standard restaurant critic Fay Maschler and journalist and broadcaster Simon Davis.
The all-day restaurant, which will operate during the store's opening hours, will feature US-born Daniel Taylor as head chef. Taylor joins Rhubarb from Le Café Anglais where he worked for restaurateur Rowley Leigh.
Bond & Brook opens on 2 August following the three-year store expansion and refurbishment programme. In addition, the Affogato Bar will open on the third floor. Designed by Tom Bartlett of Waldo Works, it will serve coffees and a selection of sweet pastries.
