Salmon flakes marinated in honeyCooked, chilled flakes of salmon marinated in honey from M&J Seafood can be used by chefs in a wide variety of dishes, from salads, wraps and jacket potato fillings to pasta dishes and risottos. The flakes are sold in £5.80, 500g packs.

Another salmon-based offering is Salmon and Cod Tartare Fish Cakes, which marry Scottish salmon, Atlantic cod, tartare sauce and hand-crushed Charlotte potatoes in a cake finished with a light dusting of flour. They are sold in £14.23 packs of 15 x 140g, or 95p per fish cake.

Smoked Trout Fillets provide an alternative to smoked salmon dishes and are sold skinless, frozen and vacuum-packed in pairs. The £16.48 cases contain 20 x 60g portions.
