Recyclable containers from Cap-It-All

Eight new moulded-fibre products have joined the GoodLife range of eco-friendly biodegradable disposables from Cap-It-All. Creamy-white in appearance, the containers are made from renewable reed or sugar cane fibres and water.

Like Cap-It-All’s crystalline polylactic (PLA) line-up of disposables made from corn starch, they will degrade within weeks when composted, within months in landfill, and are non-toxic if incinerated.

The new pieces include a three-sectioned menu box with hinged lid, a 2oz container that can be supplied with a clear polystyrene lid if required, a hot dog box with a hinged lid, an 8oz drink cup that separates easily from the stack, a 23cm lunch box with a hinged lid, a 10oz round container with a biodegradable lid, and a 24cm round plate.
