Three-stage water filtration from Everpure

A new generation of water-filtration systems from Everpure (part of the Pentair Water Group) combine water softening with filtration and pH control.

The EVERplus ES06 and ESO7 cartridges (which fit existing Everpure heads) are an extension of the group’s existing range of EVERplus ion-exchange softening products and introduce a three-stage process.

Water is initially directed through the primary and secondary process stage, with a small volume diverted via a bypass valve; treated water passes through the one-way ion-exchange process (which does not require regeneration) to control the acidity/alkalinity of the water and prevent the formation of limescale; and finally, treated and bypass water is filtered through a carbon filter to remove chlorine and unwanted taste and odour.

The cartridges come in two sizes - the ES06 is a 16in cartridge which can treat 1,780 litres at 150ppm, while the ES07 is a 21in cartridge with a capacity of 2,300 litres at 150ppm.

Replacement cartridges cost £59.49 and £67.66 respectively.
