New counter-top and direct-chill models have joined the line of plumbed-in drinking water coolers from Foster Refrigerator.

The Counter Top Water Cooler (CTDWC 25) is a compact unit designed for worktops and offices. It can deliver 25 litres of water per hour chilled to between 3°C and 10°C. It has no taps and a covered dispensing point to avoid external contamination.

In the Direct Chill Water Cooler (DWC 23 DC), the water is chilled as it passes through the pipes, which are surrounded by an ice bank. This model, which incorporates a filtration system to remove sediment and improve taste, can deliver 23 litres of chilled water per hour, with a temperature range between 8°C and 10°C.

The CTDWC 25 and the DWC 23 DC have list prices of £570 and £540 respectively, while prices on the three existing coolers (DWC 15, 25 and 50 models) have been slashed by 12-18%.
