The largest baker and retailer of traditional convenience foods in Cyprus has brought its taste of the Mediterranean to the UK market. Zorbas Fine Foods offers a range of bake-off sweet and savoury pastries that are sold frozen in catering packs with a storage life of six months at -18°C.

The pastries range from traditional-style puff pastries and olive oil-based filo pastry to heavier short crust varieties.

Pastry fillings include halloumi and feta cheese, tahini, spinach, creams and chocolates that are available in a range of sizes from individual meal portions to buffet bites.

The deep-fried koupas are crisp, golden shells of crushed pourgouri wheat filled with minced meat or mushrooms, while the bourekias are fine, deep-fried pastry parcels with meat, cheese (including anari) or custard fillings.

Completing the range is a selection of confectioneries, dusted sesame seed breadsticks, and hard almond and nut biscuits.
