Better apricots and walnuts from Brakes

The growing popularity of healthy dried nuts and fruits has prompted Brakes to improve its Dried Apricots and Walnut Halves.

The apricots are 25% bigger, plumper and juicier in texture.

The apricots, which can be eaten alone or added to dishes such as Moroccan lamb tagine or fruity flapjacks, are sold in 3kg packs.

The almonds, which are supplied in 1kg and 3kg packs, have been upgraded to the Blonde variety, which are sweeter and less bitter. They can be used as ingredients in cakes and pastries or to add flavour or crunch to recipes.
