London airport hotels increased revenue per available room (revpar) by 4.5% during the month of June.
Revpar rose to £71.87, up from £68.81 in June 2005, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
A fall in occupancy of 0.4 percentage points to 88.5% was offset by a 4.9% rise in average room rate which grew to £81.17 compared with £77.40 in June 2005.

The Bench - which is partnered with US firm Smith Travel Research - provides online benchmarking data for in excess of 34,000 hotels in more than 400 markets.
The online service allows users to track their performance in average room rate, occupancy and revpar in a variety of formats and to measure their daily performance against their competitors.
