The Red House

Shropshire publican David Bridge and his wife have bought the Red House family dining pub in the village of Lilleshall near Newport.

The two-storey detached property is one of 450 Spirit managed pubs that Christie + Co is offering on a leasehold basis on behalf of Punch Taverns, which re-acquired the Spirit business last December.

The Red House incorporates a 185-seat restaurant, a two-part bar with a games area, a patio beer garden, a detached Wacky Warehouose children’s play area, and two-bedroom owners’ accommodation.

The Birmingham office of Christie + Co was seeking a premium of £91,000 for the new 10-year lease created by Punch.
