Jinogalpa coffeeSpecial Club Jinogalpa is the latest limited-edition coffee from Nespresso.

Named after the two main regions in the mountains of Nicaragua, Matagalpa and Jinotega, the 100% arabica coffee offers intensity and body with sweet, sandalwood aromas and a hint of refreshing herbal accents.

The Jinogalpa coffee beans are picked by hand and fully washed at wet mills at the coffee plantations before being sun-dried to help preserve the coffee for longer. The coffee is split-roasted, where portions of coffee from similar regions are roasted separately by master roasters to produce a premium roast.

Jinogalpa is supplied in a dark-blue capsule and will be available from 8 September. A limited-edition espresso cup and saucer depicting a hummingbird is also available.

Jinogalpa is the second limited-edition coffee for 2008, after the success of Goroka earlier this year.
