Log-shaped pudding from Brakes

New and improved Christmas puddings from Brakes with fruit, cider, sherry and distinct pieces of fruit and peel plus spices are available frozen or ambient and because of their log shape they can easily be cut into equal-portion sizes.

Packaged in a round microwaveable container with film lid, the puddings can either be microwaved or steamed.

The Christmas pudding loaf is now available frozen and comes uncut for portion-size control and in a two-compartment pack enabling only half to be used at a time.

The lighter Christmas sponge torpedo contains more vine fruit to help retain moisture but no alcohol or nuts. A change in the spice mix and the addition of lemon and orange zest is designed to give a more authentic colour.

Offering an alternative to the traditional pudding is the chocolate fudge yule log with chocolate cream filling and fudge icing topped off with icing sugar and a holly leaf.

The yule log is supplied fully prepared but uncut.
