As part of its "I Love Scampi & Chips" campaign for National Seafood Week, Whitby Seafoods and Farm Frites are giving one Buy It! reader 100 covers of Whitby scampi and Natures Goodness chips.
The campaign highlights the revamp the dish has undergone since its popularity in the 1970s when it was typically served in a basket.
Scampi provides omega-3, protein and minerals such as zinc, selenium, copper, calcium and iodine, and vitamin B12 and some of today's chips now contain less than 5% fat, 1% saturated fat and 0.5g of salt (per 100g).
